How's this for irony?

I have a nice glass bong that I use almost exclusively. And a really cheap plastic fold-up water pipe made more for easy transport.

So...the bong was like $75.00. Very pretty, large, glass piece.

And this stupid cheap ten dollar plastic pipe hits smoother. I just realized this last night when I didn't want to drag the bong out...

The plastic pipe was WAY better.

Go figure.

I had this funky blue acrylic bong that was some sort of triple perk setup, we'd put water in the bottom and ice in the top, and I swore the thing was going to give me cancer or something just because it was plastic and it'd kinda freak me out when I was really stoned. I always left it in my buddies garage, then one day his crazy girlfriend sent it out with the trash. She was always bashing me, saying I was some sort of drug addicted bum... :bandit:

You need a blue dot (http://store.vegasglassart.com/bd02.html). I recently had the pleasure to use one of these fine pieces and it is honestly the best bong I have ever used (with the diffuser stem and ash catcher) - completely worth the money (much more so than a ROOR (http://www.roor.de/), if you ask me).

I'm saving up for two things in the next few months related to hemp - a volcano and a blue dot. :)

I like that kind of stuff, I'm sure it's really nice and super functional but it's too much like labware for me. Smoking out of funky sterile clear glass makes me feel like I'm smoking crack or something, like a druggie. Same with some other methods like vaporisors and hot knives. Just give me a nice handmade glass pipe and I'm stoked, if it holds a little water that's cool too.

hey bongs i love them, i pretty muc han expert on the things, i love them so muc hthere probably killing me. i would have to say tho that expensive bong rn't worth the money i used to make homemade bongs i think they can be great coz if uhave diffrent tube length and diametres as well as diffrent jars and downpipes u can figure out diffrent pressure exchanges and wots right for u. if u cant be arsed wit that i'd say the next best bong is a plastic one because this also u can cut down to proper size for u, there easier to carry around etc dont break. i'd say glass bongs look really cool and can be a nice smoth smoke but there to much trouble and money if u ask me. the best bong i have ever toked way a bambo bong. i dunno i think it was just the tribalness of it that made me more stoned but it was so cool. anyways enough ranting i have lecture tommoz and it 3 in the morning :confused:
