I've been wanting a bass clarinet for some time. This guys has several starting at five pounds, and ending in two days. Sounds good, eh? Problem is he has zero feedback and he has like a billion items listed, all within minutes of each other. Almost none of his other auctions have bids on them. Should I even bother bidding with this guy? Think there's any chance at all I'd actually recieve what I paid for?

Iused to play bass clarinet in the sixties, they were expensive even back then. You could take a chance that he's an idiot, five pounds? More likely, he's taking a chance that the world is full of fools (and their money are soon parted). I'd say if you could find one in good condition for $300.00, you've got yourself a bargain!!! I had a similar circumstance, the cat had no feedback score, lots of items. He was a seller from Canada. I bought a computer program, it took a long time (customs I think) but I got it, good shape and exactly what I wanted. I Say give it a go, if you want a five pound clarinet. Good luck!

That was adorable Peace Frog. Five lbs instead of five English pounds. Super cute!

Yeah, I know they're expensive. That's why i don't own one yet... :) I guess I'll keep an eye on this and maybe bid... I'm still skeptical though.

I hate ebay. Am I the only one who has a hard time gettting the ebay staff (are there any?) to communicate? When ever I have a problem with a seller, trying to get help from the staff is worse than pulling teeth from a pmsing hippo. They need to monitor members more closely. I mean, what the hell is the fee for selling an item for, if ebay staff aren't even going to do any administrating. Plus, it is not like it was a few years ago. The prices are getting ridiculous. It used to be fun. I haven't bid on anything for quite some time.
