how long till I'm clean?

Hey guys, this is a really cool forum... everyone seems chill as hell. I just had a question. I haven't endulged in the mary jane for about 5 weeks. If I were to smoke today how long would it take to be clean enough to pass a test? (I'm 5'8 146 and ahtletic if that helps) just curious...if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board Tommy!
With my experiance, it usually takes 6 weeks. You can speed it up by drinking alot of water (which you need to do anyways) but it may shave a day or so off. Also if they do a hair sample, might as well keep smoking. there is something I've used that's seems to work well: Yogi Tea
www.yogitea.com they have free samples on the site. but they don't let you specify what you want. But i'm not an expert, maybe they don't look for grass anymore. I've not been caught. I mean I refuse to work at a place that does any type of DTs. Half of the time it's the insurance company that makes companys do it... but the other half of the time it's the company getting nosey.

thanks for the info and the welcom uncle john :cheers: ...the test was just to get hired, they don't do randoms or anything so i figured "oh well stop for a month and a half, no big deal"...But then I got back from vacation and found out they gave my position away which has had me super fuckin pissed all day.

So my friend invited me to come smoke to chill out and relax, but I didn't want to make the time I gave it a up a waste in case the next job i try to find, tests as well.

I thought that maybe since my system is clean now, that If a just smoked today maybe it wouldn't take the full time to cleanse since I would only have a small amount of thc (one smoking session) in my system.

I guess I'm gonna just pass on my friends invitation even though I would love a nice doob right now

If you've been clean for five weeks, one or two smoke sessions will clear out in another week, most likely. Like I've said a thousand times before on this board though, drinking excess water will do NOTHING unless it's right before the test and you're using the Dilution Method. For info on how to pass a drug test no matter how much weed you smoke, reference the drug testing forum at www.marihemp.com. There you will find all the info you could possibly want. It is possible to pass a test without quitting smoking, if you simply use one of the tried and true methods.

my mate had to stop for an interview....he found it uber hard...i however stopped for a year in order to prove to my mates that i could and therefore prove that the herb isn't addictive....it wasn't difficult at all

i'm on probation and will only get tested for drugs monthly if i were to smoke after meeting with my officer would it be safe and still pass the test a month later when i work out every day and sweat alot

I personally wouldnt risk it. If your urine is too clean they can get your that too.

Wait it out, it will be so worth it when its all over!

Like fairy mentioned in the post before yours, this sounds like a good time to prove to yourself that you don't need to get high. How long are you on probation?

i'm gonna be on it for a year i was thinkin about not doin it and just waitin it out so i have no point in worryin and just drinkin and i think i'm gonna do shrooms casue people say it's the most spirital experience and that would be tight and this weekend i'm gettin salvia

if it is just a urine test one way to buy some time is to pluck a pubic hair and throw it in the urine. Then give them the sample with the pubic hair in it. They might (this isn't 100% guaranteed) decide the sample is contaminated and reschedule the test without testing that batch of urine. It might buy you an extra week if really needed.

Then again for all I know they could pluck the hair out and test it anyways. But I am fairly sure they will re-test and give you a lecture or something about "not contaminating your sample".

that could be good in a pinch someday when you are out of options.

the oil in the hair would taint the urine sample. it doesn't take much. the key is to taint it in a manner that they don't bother with testing it.

technically simply wiping your hand on the inside of the cup could taint it, but they will still test that and still see marijauna.

I doubt you would get in trouble (maybe if it is a legal authority testing) because it was as simple accident that the hair fell in. I mean, it isn't that much of a stretch that while peeing in a cup that could happen.

Also, I know some people who have had really bad trips on shrooms so, if you really feel like you have to get high, have a "baby-sitter" your first time. Salvia is just the scientific name for sage so it's safe but it probably won't do much other than make you calm.

You might really think about challenging yourself to see how long you can go without altering your state of mind. Not that I'm apposed to any of the things you've mentioned, I've done them all myself except for the sage, but I find that when I spend a lot of time thinking about how to get high I usually have something I need to deal with that I am trying to avoid. I don't know you so I don't mean to judge, just something to consider. :)

self-medication is definitely bad, but if it is strictly for experience than it is the individual's temple to crumble.

Oh no the salvia messes you up big time, only for like a few minutes but it is def not calming, its like a one minute trip, very intense, very! Its a certain type not just any old sage. Salvia divinorum, the diviners sage. Its a powerfull herb and should be used with caution. Ive smoked it, I actually have this growing and have for years, had no clue till last yr thats what it was.

hmm not like pot at all. I cant describe it really, other then its very trippy. Ever done whip its or nitrous? I knw I know its bad but in highschool we used to do whip its all the time and for a min your world it wacked. It like that but diff,lol

Once I don't have a bun in the oven anymore I'm going to try Salvia. I've done a lot of research and it seems to be something I'd really like to experience. I'd LOVE to grow it just to have it as another random plant in my jungles of gardens, but I have no idea how to get seeds or plant starts. It's really a pretty little plant!!

you can get seeds online or the plant. I dont remember if mine started from seed or if I bought the plant? I do remember thinking it was sage, but when it grew it looked way diff then other sage I had growing, then someone said hey you know what that is?? Now its spreading ;)
