I have an area that gets morning sun, and afternoon sun. It is a raised bed 40x40 feet. Last year I planted pumpkins. got 2 out of 16 hills!
Was wondering if Tomato's would work in the area :hippie: . Or....does anyone have any other veggie ideas for the area?

Tomatoes need at least six hours of sun a day. Eight would be better. How many hours do you get?
I love pumpkins in July. They are perfect for pies then :D

Tomatoes need mucho sun. I hear salvia grows well in partial sun areas, might be interesting to grow and share with friends.

Last year I grew pole beans pretty successfully in partial sun. They kicked butt.
I was giving em away toward the end of the summer. I'd look at them and curse under my breath because they'd be full of beans AGAIN and I still had a gallon bag left in my fridge....
I'm going to plant WAY fewer plants this year...
