Man i got to thinking of this place a few days ago and I haven't been able to get it out of my mind. This place is Outhouse Moan's refuge. We recorded some of our best stuff there. Many weekends of getting drunk/high and early morning shroom hunts. I even had my bachelor party (end up) there. The last thing I remember was leavign the bar.. next thing I'm looking for shrooms. The property was full of trees and a fishing tank just down the hill (complete with alligators) If I had more pics you would see how beautiful East Texas could be. There was nothing special about the house... unless you want to cound an old 3 bedroom farmhouse with an outhouse in the back.. I sure do! Take a look.

Slate.. sleeping through our set.

The camphouse is still there, though Andy's cousin is using it as a cabin now, and has been doing alot of things. Plumbing, repairing the roof, leveling, and even fixing the front poarch (which looks at the lake) to make it bigger for OHM performances.

A washboard, eh? And a spoon? What kind of music do you play?

My sis in law used to play wooden spoons.

Peace,
Cassandra

We play...well psycedelic-hillbilly rock (from what I can gather) ;)

I have two washboards, one (in the picture) is a real washboard you would use for clothes, and a "musical" one (it has a different pattern..picked it up at a music store). I use wooden spoons, metal spoons, and plastic ones. I prefer the plastic ones because it resinates a different sound, and when they break they are perfect for giving out to the audience (I pre-sign them).

Does your sister use the little wooden dancing man? I thought about using that in a few shows. If you go to the band's website, I can send you a sample tape of our practice and "messing around" aong with Andy's moving party... no vocals LOL Andy forgot the mics.... stoner.
