This, I think would be a good option for me when I got to college in a few weeks...

Garden in a Bag (http://wishingfish.com/gardenbag.html)

The college that I'm going to has super small bedrooms, and I'm not even sure if I can have plants.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I really do feel like growing things in a room banishes alot of the negative energy, and makes everything so much better and happier. So I really will feel lost without at least one growing thing. The windows stretch from the ceiling to the floor, so I need something small, that maybe could be on a small case or something. I'm thinking maybe a planting pot rack...

i would put shelves on the wall, partial shade plants, also see if your college dormitory has regulations about holes in ceiling/walls. if not, hanging plants could work. Some windows have a ledge that's big enough for potted plants also. And you could always revert to a pretty glass with flowers.
maybe the small types of cacti you can get at garden stores?
Good luck and Peace
