22:28 Suppose a man comes across a virgin who is not engaged and overpowers and rapes48 her and they are discovered. 22:29 The man who has raped her must pay her father fifty shekels of silver and she must become his wife because he has violated her; he may never divorce her as long as he lives.

That's why i'm not so much into organized religion. I don't agree with a lot that the bible says.

But i have looked into other routes of spirituality like Buddhism and Wicca.

As far as I'm concerned, the bible is a piece of fictional literature. Is it worth reading? Sure. There are plenty of good concepts in it. But it's still fiction, written by human beings. All humans think differently, many think in ways that are offensive or intolerable to others. To take everything proposed in the bible as truth and set in stone is as ignorant and close-minded as it would be to base your entire life on any other work of fiction. Maybe Star Wars would be a good candidate...

But hey, go for it Kermit, get in touch with your feminine side. ;)
