Need to get something off my chest.....

I had a very emotionally over wrought day yesterday, the two things in my life that are causing me issues really got to me. Namely school and my lack of a job, welll when I picked up my man from work I found out that he is getting laid off (oddly enough I had cried to a kid in my fig. draw. class about this very thing, my man did not even tell me I just said "your getting laid off aren't you?"). Anyhow, I had gone off about how I want to see my grandma and grandpa in wisconsin b4 they pass away and I was just extremely tearful about all my frustrations.
Well, at about 9:00pm last night my mother calls me saying that she got a call from one of my aunts in wis., my grandpa Don passed away yesterday afternoon... I had not seen him in three years...
He was the best fishing buddy a kid could have and I am going to miss him a great deal... R.I.P Grandpa Don... :(
(holy moose I am sooo sad right now, yet relieved he does not have to put up with the pain of his diabetes anymore.)

I am soooo sorry to hear about your grandpa. I grew up with my grandparents living with us and I am soooo thankful for that. I hope things get better for you, overall. :group_hug

:( life is pooey but be happy like everyone says, at least u could be close to ure grandpa. Not being close to ure family sucks more. Anyways hope the pain gets easier to deal with, shall send positive vibes :nature-sm .

Thanx guys, I am going home to see when the funeral is, hopefully on this weekend, and see if I can book a fight to milwaukee... My aunt said not to feel obligated to go but if it is on a weekend then I want to go. I need to see my family, it has been far too long since I last saw them. Today seems to be looking alot better than yesterday was...

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, He'll be in my thoughts.

I know how it is to get laid off... I got laid off back in Jan. And we are getting scared b/c when we pay our bills next week... we will be broke. Seriously.

But again, Sorry to hear that, I've been there on both scales. I know how it feels.

He has admittedly gone to a better place, and that is sort of how I need to look at it.
