    Default Summertime in my yard

So many of you have seen pics of my yard in the fall, winter, and spring, but not in the summer. Well out here the days are getting longer, and hotter. Out here when it's above 85, it's not very pleasant to be out too long. So this morning I needed to trim the yard and while I was out, I took a few pics and I made a new bouquet of blooming flowers for my wife in her happy hippy flower vase. I've been trying my best to get some wildlife shots, hopefully today I can get a few shots of birds bathing in my dumpster dive bird bucket (see the spring photos here). Enjoy!

For my love, JuJu. I give her a fresh bouquet every week.

    Desert Bird of Paradise

The first bottle was clear and I accidentally broke it and replaced it with this one that was casually discarded on my lawn. I replaced it with a Mexican soda bottle to give it a more festive look.

    Thank you, Denise.

It's actually a great property to be on. When you get out side of town there are hardly any trees around. When I'm in my yard I feel like I'm back in my old part of TX. Soon we'll have a rebuilt pond and a fire pit to help us enjoy the back better. But first I need to build a better porch roof for the back, if you haven't seen it in past pics, what's currently there is starting to rot.

    Smile Summertime in my yard

    Absolutely Gorgeous pictures.

If we ever get summer here I'll post some of mine--would you believe, here we are in the middle of June--and today it's only 59 degrees farenheit?

Coldest wettest summer I can remember

Hope its better where you are.

    My love to Juju

    Hugs to you both

    Thanks!

Man I wish we lived up there, it was almost 108f this past weekend. I hate the summertime out here.
