making "boca"

Anyone know of an inexpensive way to make meat-like products? I'm and un-employed vegan farmer, and can't really afford to buy "tofu" dogs or "boca" burgers, etc. every time I got to the store. I've made my own veggie burgers before, but it's just not the same.

I'd like some stuff similar to smart deli's "beef" crumbles, for chili and tacos, etc. as well as sausage for breakfast and pizza. If anyone knows a cheaper, but still tasty substitute, or has a recipie, please let me know.
