I had this one sandwich that I would make all the time, and here is what I think the recipe is (I don't have it written down, so bear with me
)1 port mushroom cap garlic -as much as you like lemon juice- a splash on the mushroom pinch of salt olive oil (spectrum is my favorite )I put all the ingredients on top of the mushroom (the gilly part) and put it upside down on a glass baking dish. I bake it on oh, 425 until it is cooked and is sizzling. I top it with the following items: 1 slice of fresh caramalized onion pesto mayo Focaccio (sp?) bread (I make my own with rosemary) Spring mix salad serve it with fresh cut fries and a beer and you have the greatest meal ever! if anyone else has a good recipe with portobella mushrooms, please post ![]()

YUMMY!
Sounds good, unfortunately I can't get Portabello shrooms here but I used to do a great recipe with them. They were stuffed with cottage cheese and cheddar cheese, dash of worcesterhire sauce ( which isn't vegetarian BTW, it contains anchovies ) and grilled. If I can find the full recipe I'll post it for you. ![]()
