Yes i'm kinda bored today. This one is easy but takes awhile. Have fun!
1 can each of red, black and kidney beans. 1 green pepper & 1 red pepper, diced 2 onions, diced 1 cup corn 2 28oz cans of whole tomatoes (without sauce) 12 oz. tomato paste 1.5 tsp cumin 3 tsp chili powder 3 tsp cayenne pepper salt & pepper to taste 5-6 cloves of garlic Saute the spices, onions and garlic in oil for 5 min. Then add the remaining vegetables and cook for another 5 min. Add the remaining ingredients, bring to boil and then simmer for 4-5 hours. Add water if it gets too thick. When it finishes it should resemble a soup instead of a chowder. peace |

That sounds good. I have everything except the peppers, which don't agree with me.

It does sound good nappy-- It seems like a very versatile recipe where you can substitute/omit certain ingredients. I will have to try it out next time I feel compelled to make chili.

Ya, its a pretty basic recipe but I wouldn't omit the beans or the corn. The latter to give it that southwestern flair ![]() peace |
