This one is easy and contains no eggs. And it's delicious!!!

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Grease and flour an 8 by 8 by 2 cake pan or use a round one.

Ingredients:
1 and a half cups unsifted all purpose flour.
1 cup of white sugar.
one third cup cocoa powder.
1 teaspoon baking soda.
one half teaspoon salt.
1 tablespoon vanilla.
1 tablespoon vinegar.
one half cup oil.
1 cup water.

Put the baking soda into a small bowl and crush any lumps out.
In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Take a wisk and fluff it up so your cake won't come out dense.
Make a well in the center- add the vanilla, vinegar, and oil.
Gradually stir in the water.

You can mix this up with a spoon, no mixer needed.

Pour it into the baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

To make sure it's done, poke it with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out with batter on it, then it's not done.

When it's done, cool it for ten minutes in the pan. Then remove it onto a rack until it's completely cool.

Sorry, no frosting recipe. I don't do frosting. Just cake
