1 and a half cups of cooked rice.
1 cup of cooked beans (pintoes or small red are best, I think) 1 tablespoon of oil. one quarter cup of chopped onion. 1 and a half teaspoons of curry powder. 1 and a half teaspoons of lemon juice. 1 tablespoon of chopped pimento. A dash of soy sauce. Salt- a few dashes. Heat the oil in a frying pan and saute the onion. Add the curry and cook one minute. Add the rice and beans. Now stir fast to stop it from sticking. Stir in the lemon juice, pimento, soy sauce and salt. Stir until it's all hot. Then eat and enjoy. Goes good with cornbread Peace, Pedata

1 chopped onion
3 cloves garlic 1 Tb olive oil 16 oz chopped tomato 2 pinches oragino 1 pinch basil salt to taste sautee the onion & garlic in the olive oil until translucent. then add the rest of the ingredients & simmer for hour or until you're ready to eat it! Sometimes I substitute onion & garlic powder for the real things if I'm in a big hurry. there's no way to mess it up & it tastes great on pasta! Peace & Love
