Here is my webtv site with all the links to soy information. It's a lot of reading. One or two of them are actually pro-soy sites- I put them on the page before I had read far enough
Read them all then make up your own mind http://community-2.webtv.net/maxela/SoyInfo/ If anyone has trouble clicking on the links let me know and I'll paste the actual links in here. Peace, Cassandra |

All of this is interesting and informative, but as with anything, be aware of who's behind a given source -- not everyone is an "expert." I thought the article form your site at this link http://www.gourmaid.com/soydanger.html was particularly interesting because it brings up something I posted about in the old forum -- namely, that in large part, some of the problems associated with soy come from where and how it's processed. As the article says, soy protein, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, as well as some other things have deceptive names. They're not as "natural" as they look, and it's in its unnatural forms that soy becomes especieally bad.
Personally, I'm not convinced that I should stop eating soy altogether, but I do stick to eating only those foods made with whole soybeans and nothing with the soy proteins etc. etc. that have been processed. |

Hey Delta, why didn't I think of that? I bet it is loaded with fiber. And if you don't want to eat it you can wear it. Or you can wear it, get stranded, then eat it. That would go real good with our bamboo civilization
