Default Hey Doulachef

Here's the link to the tuna pie recipe.

Sorry vegans, it's got meat in it....and I hear many dolphins were verbally insulted by the surly drunken fishermen that were catching the tuna in thier big evil nets.

Sarcastically,
Cassandra

(lol)

Thanks Pedata!

It sounds really good--especially with the cheese crust.

Delta, thanks- you genius

Doulachef- that pie crust can be made into other things. I like to make circles and put some beans or fried potatoes on it, then make a half circle, flute, vent (oh you know all that) and bake. Or make cookie sized and plain, just bake, and have handy food for carrying when I'm going somewhere.

Mmmmm,
Cassandra

I'm making tuna pie this week! Maybe I'll double the crust recipe just to play with some ideas!

I think you'll really like it. I used to love it but I ate so much tuna for too many years (it was on sale) and can't really look at it anymore, lol. Have fun playing with the crust. Let us know what you come up with.

BandAide- I love you too

Peace,
Cassandra

Hey Pedata! I checked out the Food Timeline and ended up reading about raising goats and the origins of pastry, etc, etc, etc, really random stuff.
VERY cool website! Thanks!!

I LOVE that site. Somewhere, through one of the links, is a site that explains how letters where used differently way back when, and if you practice it enough you can figure out some of those ancient recipes that are still in thier original words.

I loved the "what vikings ate" part. They pretty much ate whatever they could get hold of, lol.

Peace,
Cassandra
