Making your own fabric gift bags is fun & eco-friendly. There’s no need to buy anything – all you need is a sewing machine, or needle and thread.
If you have some remnant fabric, or even extra un-stained dish towles, try sewing up the sides inside out, and then flip it back out so the sewn seams are on the inside.
Often when I travel, I will pick up inexpensive dishtowels with the name of the place I have traveled to. This is a fun item to convert, and it’s even more fun when it’s re-gifted back to you at a later time!
Take ribbon or rafia and tie off the bags as a fastener.
