I don’t really mind the fine lines around my eyes and mouth, but it’s the deep-set ‘angry’ lines, or the lines that form my ‘number 11’ in my forehead that bother me. Now, I’m not an angry person!! I’m simply a 38 year old woman who has crafted these lines, over time, from being expressive and squinting at the computer screen all day. The lines are also a result of aging. As we age, natural collagen starts to break down, and the skin is less elastic. One way of fighting off fine lines is by implementing a good skin-care regimen, and keeping the skin hydrated.
I put lotion on my face twice a day, and sometimes three times if it’s really dry out. I do live by the coast, so two times is fine due to the fact that we do have humidity. However, those who live in desert or mountain environments should consider applying lotion on three times a day. And, applying lotion, is NOT a chore. In fact, if you’re not in the habit, you’ll be surprised how addicting it can be.
Here is my new anti-aging skincare regimen, that has not only plumped out my fine lines, but has kept my skin in check.
When I get out of the shower in the morning, I apply a face daycream. I love the all natural Facial Natural Lotion by Just Natural Skincare. It has ultra-soothing emollients like shea, jojoba, kukui and mango which provide a natural source of proteins, vitamins, and minerals, to give instant hydration to dry skin. This formula moisturizes quickly, but doesn’t leave it feeling greasy. Despite my aging skin, I am still prone to breakouts – so greasy lotions will not do! This lotion is a great value as well – 8 oz for only $12.
I will then sometimes dab in a little Anti-Aging Serum in to the mix, and I make sure to get my neck and décolleté area. I recently noticed my neck was starting to show the signs of aging, with little dimple marks and lines, so I really started to focus on moisturizing this area daily, versus once in a blue moon. I’ve already seen dramatic results, and am thankful I have adopted this good moisturizing habit.
At night, after I wash my face, I put on both Anti-Aging serum and the Anti-Aging Night Cream.
I could apply the night cream first, and then dab in the anti-aging serum, but I have found that condensing this step also works. I take a tab of night cream, and squirt a dab if the serum in and combine it in my hands before applying.
After two weeks of consistent use of the night cream and anti-aging serum, I’ve had some pretty miraculous results! Not only have my lines plumped out between my eyes, aka the ‘angry 11’, but my fine lines around my eyes and mouth have all but disappeared. I even got carded last week when I went to buy some wine – and at the age of 38, I’ll take the I.D. check anytime!
My skin has been in check since I’ve started using the Just Natural Skincare line. The products are all-natural, and smartly crafted; everything works in unison. The blends are time-tested emollients that really do work – naturally.
If you are in your twenties, and want to have great skin in the next decades, I recommend checking out this skincare line. The Facial Lotion is a great, affordable lotion that should be in any daily skin regimen. If you are like me and are aging gracefully, I recommend the Anti-Aging serum and the Night Cream – both for the gentle, and most important natural, yet effective results.
